Ingredients
- 5 or 6 lb. beef brisket
- 2 oz. commercial liquid smoke
- celery salt
- onion salt
- garlic salt
- pepper and salt
- Worcestershire sauce
- commercial barbecue sauce
Method
- Pour liquid smoke over brisket placed in a baking dish. Generously sprinkle meat on both sides with celery salt, onion salt and garlic salt which tenderizes it.
- Place in refrigerator, covered, overnight.
- Next morning, sprinkle both sides of meat with salt and pepper and a little Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake 4 to 5 hours in 275° oven.
