Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 lb. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk

Method

  • Cream together margarine and sugar.
  • Add eggs; beat and add cracker crumbs, nuts and coconut.
  • Add baking powder.
  • Mix and then add milk.
  • Divide batter into three greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
  • Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until cakes test done. Remove from pans and assemble cake with icing.
