- 1 1/2 c. shredded cabbage
- 1/2 c. shredded carrots
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 can (1/4 c.) water chestnuts, drained
- 1/4 c. pineapple tidbits (with juice)
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. chow mein noodles
Method
- Combine cabbage, carrots, pepper, onions, water chestnuts and pineapple.
- In a small bowl mix vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Mix into vegetables.
- Marinate several hours.
- Add chow mein noodles just before serving.
