Ingredients
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1 t. salt
- 2 t. black pepper
- 2 t. paprika
- 1 t. garlic salt
- 1 t. dried marjoram
- 8-9 chicken pieces
Method
- Place the oil and butter in a shallow cooking pan (a jelly roll pan is perfect). Place in oven at 375° to melt. Set aside. In a large paper bag, combine the flour and seasonings. Roll the chicken pieces, 3 at a time, in the melted oil/butter mixture, then drop them in the paper bag. Shake to cover. Place on a dish or waxed paper.
