Ingredients
- 2 lb. green beans, trimmed
- 3 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. grated orange zest
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. sliced natural almonds
- 1/4 c. French fried onions
Method
- In saucepan, bring water to the boil.
- Add beans and cook until tender, about 7 to 9 minutes; drain.
- Combine vinegar, garlic, zest, salt and pepper until salt dissolves.
- Slowly whisk in oil until mixture thickens slightly.
- In serving bowl, combine beans with vinaigrette until coated.
- Set aside.
