Ingredients

  • 2 lb. green beans, trimmed
  • 3 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. grated orange zest
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 c. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. sliced natural almonds
  • 1/4 c. French fried onions

Method

  • In saucepan, bring water to the boil.
  • Add beans and cook until tender, about 7 to 9 minutes; drain.
  • Combine vinegar, garlic, zest, salt and pepper until salt dissolves.
  • Slowly whisk in oil until mixture thickens slightly.
  • In serving bowl, combine beans with vinaigrette until coated.
  • Set aside.
