Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup, light
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange peel
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 unbaked pie shell, 9-inch

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs.
  • Add molasses, corn syrup, orange juice, orange peel and vanilla; beat until well blended.
  • Stir in pecans.
  • Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • Bake at 350°F for 40 to 50 minutes or until filling is set.
  • Cool.
  • Serve with whipped cream.
