Ingredients
- 6 large onions
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- black pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 can milk
- 4 slices buttered French bread
Method
- Saute onions in margarine.
- Put in long 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese and pepper.
- Mix soup and milk together and pour over last ingredients.
- Place four or more slices of buttered French bread on top (enough slices buttered to cover casserole top).
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
