- 1/2 to 1 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 lb. bacon, cut in small pieces
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 (1 lb. 15 oz. size) cans pork and beans
- 1 (1 lb.) can butter beans, drained
- 1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 3 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Method
- Brown beef in skillet; drain and put in cooker.
- Brown bacon with onion; drain.
- Crumble bacon.
- Add both to cooker along with remaining ingredients.
- Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours in crock-pot.
