Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 sq. bitter chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. cake flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. pecans
Method
- Cream butter and sugar until soft and fluffy.
- Add chocolate which has been melted over hot water.
- Add eggs which have been thoroughly beaten.
- Add flour, salt, baking powder, vanilla, nuts and milk.
- Pour into two 9-inch pans and bake at 375° for 35 minutes.
