Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. dried apricots
  • cold water
  • 2 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. quick oats
  • about 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1/3 c. mini chocolate chips
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. oil (can use part butter)
  • 3 Tbsp. milk

Method

  • Stir first 8 ingredients together and make a well in the center.
  • Slowly add oil and milk, that have been mixed together in the measuring cup.
  • Stir and pat and press into a 9-inch baking dish.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
