Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 36 to 40 medium pimento stuffed olives

Method

  • Blend butter and cheese.
  • Add flour, salt and paprika.
  • Blend and mix well to form dough.
  • Using about 1 teaspoon of dough, flatten dough out in the palm of your hand and wrap it around each olive.
  • Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • May be served hot or cold. May be made ahead and frozen, baked or unbaked.
