Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Method
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a small Dutch oven; cook, without stirring, over medium heat, just until mixture reaches soft crack stage (270°).
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla.
