Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. green cabbage, cut in 1/8-inch thick shreds
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. distilled white vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. whipping cream
- salt and freshly ground pepper
Method
- Place cabbage in large bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate until well chilled.
- Mix sugar, vinegar and salt in small bowl.
- Add to cabbage and toss well.
- Add cream and toss again.
- Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve.
