Ingredients
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sour cream
- 5 c. cake flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
Method
- Cream Crisco and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla to sour cream. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with the liquid to Crisco and sugar mixture.
- Chill thoroughly.
- Roll out 1 1/4-inches thick.
- Cut with a large cutter.
- Sprinkle with sugar and press lightly.
- Bake in a moderate 375° oven for 15 minutes. Makes 100 cookies.
