Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 7 egg yolks
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 1 c. sour milk
Method
- Cream butter until fluffy.
- Add well beaten egg yolks and sugar; beat well.
- Sift flour, soda and cornstarch 3 times.
- Add alternately the flour and sour milk.
- Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until firm to the touch, in moderate 375° oven.
