Ingredients
- 4 c. onion, chopped
- 4 c. green and red sweet peppers, chopped
- 4 c. green tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 c. pickling salt
- 6 c. sugar
- 2 hot peppers, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 4 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 2 Tbsp. turmeric
Method
- Add pickling salt to onion, green and red pepper and tomatoes. Let stand overnight and then drain.
- Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and place in jars and seal.
- Cool pack and bring to boil and let cook 10 minutes in boiling water so jars will seal.
