Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 stick Parkay margarine
- 1/2 c. Jif (reduced fat) peanut butter
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. rolled oats
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix sugar, cocoa and salt.
- Stir well, then add milk and margarine.
- Cook until it clings to sides of saucepan.
- Remove from heat, then add peanut butter, vanilla and oats.
- Mix until peanut butter melts.
- Place newspaper covered with waxed paper onto countertop.
- Dip by tablespoons onto wax paper.
- Makes 12 cookies, then go over the 12 cookies until you have used all the mixture. Let cool and place cookies onto platter.
