Ingredients

  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 2 c. old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 c. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Method

  • In mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, eggs, milk, oil and vanilla.
  • Mix well.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Stir into batter. Stir in oats, chocolate chips and raisins.
  • Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
