Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. quick rolled oats
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 5 Tbsp. light cream or evaporated milk

Method

  • Combine 1 cup flour, oats, brown sugar, soda, salt and butter. Press 1/2 mixture into the bottom of an 8 x 8-inch glass pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate pieces and pecans.
