Ingredients
- 3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 5 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 large egg
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
- Stir in oats.
- Combine milk, honey and egg; stir into dry ingredients. Spread mixture into prepared pan.
- Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Wrap in plastic wrap.
- Makes one loaf.
