Ingredients
- 9 green and 9 red peppers
- 9 carrots
- 2 cabbage heads
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 hot pepper
- 6 to 9 onions
Method
- Chop this all up.
- Put in dishpan.
- Pour 1/2 cup plain salt over this; do not stir.
- Let stand 4 hours.
- Drain all water off. Mix 8 cups sugar and 8 cups vinegar cold; pour over vegetables. Mix up; put in jars.
- Pressure cook at 5 pounds for 5 minutes.
