Ingredients

  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cups Whole Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cups Peanut Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Method

  • Line a 13 x 18" cookie sheet with a baking mat or parchment paper. Set it aside.
  • Measure 3 cups of rolled oats into a medium bowl and set aside.
  • Add sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder into a medium saucepan. Melt over medium heat just until everything becomes smooth and is well combined. Stir occasionally. When everything is melted together, turn heat up to medium high and watch for mixture to come to a rolling boil. Boil for 1 to 11/2 minutes, stirring constantly once it gets to the boiling stage. The mixture should not stop boiling when you stir it.
  • Remove pan from heat and pour chocolate over the rolled oats. Add peanut butter and vanilla extract and stir to combine.
  • Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto lined cookie sheet. Shape as desired.
  • Let them cool and enjoy!
