Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 egg whites
Method
- Cook cornstarch, sugar and water together until clear, like starch.
- Stir and cook.
- This takes only a few minutes.
- Cool while heating egg whites.
- Beat egg whites until standing in peaks.
- Then add first mixture and beat some more, adding 6 tablespoons more sugar, one at a time while beating.
- Beat until all stands in high peaks.
- Put on pie and brown in a 350° oven.
