Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 beaten egg
Method
- In a large bowl, cut shortening into flour until completely mixed.
- Into a smaller bowl, beat egg.
- Add white vinegar and cold water.
- Beat together.
- Add liquid to flour mixture; blend until completely mixed.
- Don't worry about overmixing.
- Will be sticky. Place in refrigerator about 1/2 hour.
