Ingredients
- 5 c. boiling water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 c. (1 lb.) lentils, washed
Method
- Cover and simmer 30 min.
- Don't DRAIN.
- Add in: 1 pkg.
- dry onion soup mix 1 1/2 teaspoon chili pwdr (or possibly to taste) 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Simmer 30 min more.
- Serve as is or possibly over spaghetti, rice or possibly corn chips (cheese on top).
- Use for pizza, tacos or possibly a dip.
