Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Break eggs into bowl; add milk, flour and salt.
- Mix well with spoon, disregarding lumps.
- Fill well-greased Pyrex custard cups 3/4 full.
- Place in a cold oven.
- Set control at 450° and turn on heat.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Don't dare peek!
- After the 30 minutes baking time, open oven and pop into a bread basket.
- Serve with tons of butter.
- Then sit back and try not to look smug! Yields 8 popovers.
