Ingredients

  • 20 pickling dill pickles
  • dill
  • cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Method

  • Slice cucumbers lengthwise
  • or
  • when
  • bigger slice them round. Put 2 pieces dill in
  • quart jar, one on top and one on bottom. Do the same with
  • the
  • garlic, 2 pieces per jar.
  • Mix water, vinegar and salt and
  • bring to a boil.
  • Pour hot liquid over pickles
  • and if
  • not
  • enough
  • liquid,
  • make
  • some
  • more. Process in hot water bath until
  • it comes to a good boil.
  • Set aside and leave in 1/2 hour.
