Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Cut shortening into flour; add beaten egg.
- Add salt and milk.
- Dough should be sticky.
- Pinch off a bit and knead with flour; roll out, cut into pieces and drop into boiling broth.
- Do not stir.
- Punch dumplings into broth with spoon.
