Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/3 c. green pepper
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls

Method

  • Brown meat and then drain.
  • Add onions and green pepper; cook until tender.
  • Add tomato paste and 1/2 of cheese.
  • Mix well. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.
  • Place in a 9-inch pie pan, pressing together to form a crust.
  • Flute edge.
  • Fill with meat mixture and top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 375°.
  • Makes 6 to 8 servings.
