Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. green pepper
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
Method
- Brown meat and then drain.
- Add onions and green pepper; cook until tender.
- Add tomato paste and 1/2 of cheese.
- Mix well. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.
- Place in a 9-inch pie pan, pressing together to form a crust.
- Flute edge.
- Fill with meat mixture and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 375°.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
