Ingredients

  • 2 c. raw cranberries
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Method

  • Wash and pick over cranberries.
  • Place on bottom of greased 10-inch pie pan (square or oblong pan may be used).
  • Sprinkel with 1/2 cup sugar and walnuts.
  • Mix together 1 cup sugar and melted margarine, then add flour, almond extract and beaten eggs. Mix well.
  • Pour batter over cranberries.
  • Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Serve with whipped cream.
