Ingredients
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells
- 12 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 cups shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 14 cup milk
Method
- Cream the butter and the sugar.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat in well.
- Add the lemon juice, then the milk, and finally the coconut and blend all in well.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Preheat oven to 450 F and place pie in oven for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350 F and bake for a further 25-30 minutes, or until brown.
