Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. "Philly" cream cheese
  • 2 large jars Chi-Chi salsa
  • 2 pkg. Kraft mixed Mexican Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. chopped sirloin
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 2 to 3-inch jalapeno pepper
  • 2 to 3-inch yellow banana pepper
  • 1 can chili sauce

Method

  • Line casserole pan evenly with salsa; cover.
  • Brown hamburger. Add taco seasoning and chopped jalapeno pepper.
  • Add to hamburger.
  • Cook 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Add chili mix and simmer.
  • Cover salsa with hamburger; cover this with cheese.
  • Microwave 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Stir and top with second bag of Cheddar cheese.
  • Goes good with any type of chips.
