Ingredients
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 cake yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. sifted flour
Method
- Scald milk and Crisco and cool.
- Beat eggs; add salt, sugar and yeast.
- Add cooled milk.
- Add 2 cups of flour and beat.
- Add 2 cups of flour and beat.
- Place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Shape, rise and bake.
