Ingredients
- 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 3/4 c. uncooked rice
- 1 1/2 c. water (cooks rice)
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 3/4 stick margarine or butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 soup can milk
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Method
- Cook and drain broccoli.
- Add to cooked rice.
- Saute onion in butter (or margarine).
- Mix onions, balance of butter from saute and cheese (3/4 cup) to broccoli rice mixture.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 350° for abut 20 minutes.
- If prepared the day before, bake 45 minutes to 1 hour.
