Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1 bunch scallions, sliced thin
  • 2 to 3 stalks celery, sliced thin
  • 1 large green bell pepper, diced 3/8 cubes
  • 1 small can water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 (10 oz.) frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 tsp. sugar
  • lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • bacon bits

Method

  • Place head lettuce on bottom of large bowl.
  • Place scallions as next layer, stalks celery as next layer.
  • Mix mayonnaise with garlic powder, sugar, lemon juice, salt and
  • pepper.
  • Spread on top of layers and sprinkle with bacon bits on top.
