Ingredients

  • 1 c. Eagle brand lowfat milk
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 2 c. nuts, finely minced
  • 14 ounce. coconut
  • 16 (1 ounce.) squares Baker's semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 tbsp. solid vegetable shortening

Method

  • Mix lowfat milk, sugar, nuts and coconut.
  • Let mix refrigerateat least 3 hrs.
  • Remove from refrigerator and form into balls or possibly squares, using about 1 tsp.
  • of mix per ball or possibly square.
  • Let refrigerate8 hrs at least.
  • Heat Baker's chocolate and 1 Tbsp.
  • shortening together over low heat.
  • Dip coconut balls into chocolate.
  • Refrigerateand store in closed container.
