Ingredients
- 2 c. milk
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. warm water
- flour (enough to make non-sticky dough)
Method
- Dissolve yeast in a little warm water.
- Heat milk to melt shortening.
- Add sugar and cool to lukewarm.
- Warm water; add salt.
- Combine all ingredients.
- Add flour to make a non-sticky dough.
- Cover and let rise in warm place.
- Punch down and make into buns.
- Let rise again and bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes according to size of buns.
