Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 sq. chocolate
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Melt margarine in top of double boiler.
- Drop in chocolate and melt.
- Gradually add sugar, 4 tablespoons at a time.
- Add salt. Gradually add milk.
- The water in the double boiler must be kept boiling.
- Lastly, add vanilla.
- Cook until desired thickness, about 1 hour.
- Stir often.
- Store in refrigerator.
- Can be reheated.
