Ingredients
- 16 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon, rounded
- 1 c. honey
- 2 c. crushed bran flakes or more
- 3 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Combine oatmeal, brown sugar and cinnamon in very, very large stainless
- steel
- bowl.
- Add
- the bran flakes, honey and vanilla. If
- using
- regular
- oatmeal, sprinkle 1 cup of water all over the mixture.
- Stir well before baking.
- Bake at a low heat for 1 hour, stirring thoroughly every 15 minutes.
- If not using stainless steel bowl,
- pour
- into
- baking
- pan before baking!
