Ingredients
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 6 to 8 tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced (about 6 c.)
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
Method
- Combine the first 3 ingredients; stir into sliced apples. Pour into a 9 x 9-inch cake pan.
- Combine the last 3 ingredients by mixing the flour and sugar.
- Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle mixture over apples.
- Bake at 400° for 45 to 50 minutes, or until done.
