Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 c. chopped apples
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. sifted all-purpose flour

Method

  • Blend together in mixer salad oil, sugar and eggs.
  • Next combine in order given apples (cored, pared and cut in chunks), chopped nuts, salt, soda, cinnamon, vanilla and all-purpose flour. Combine all ingredients to make batter which will be stiff.
  • Spoon into a Bundt cake pan.
  • Do not grease pan.
  • Bake at 350° for about an hour.
