Ingredients
- 4 lb. ground beef
- 1 (28 oz.) bottle ketchup
- 3 tsp. mustard
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/4 Tbsp. honey
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 c. water
- salt and pepper
Method
- In a large frying pan, brown the ground beef; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a separate pan, saute onion in butter to make a sauce.
- When onion is soft, turn off burner.
- Drain any grease off the meat.
- Put meat back in a large pan.
- Pour sauteed onion over meat.
- Mix in the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve with choice of bread or bun.
