Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb Fresh green beans
  • 1/2 White onion, sliced thin
  • 1 Yellow bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 can Petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 can Large butter beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup Italian salad dressing
  • 1 as needed Salt & pepper

Method

  • Boil the green beans in generously salted water until tender.
  • Approximately 10-15 minutes.
  • Drain.
  • Mix all remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Add green beans.
  • Mix well.
  • Add more Italian dressing if needed to coat thoroughly.
  • Cover and chill for an hour or more.
  • Flavors will blend better the longer it sits.
