Ingredients
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 2 1/2 c. flour (1/2 wheat and 1/2 unbleached white)
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. sugar (optional)
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Should be able to stick your finger in without burning yourself.
- Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing vigorously.
- Heat oven to 425°.
- Shouldn't be sticky.
- Should be semi-firm, but workable.
- If sticky, add a little flour.
- Let set for 5 to 10 minutes (cover bowl).
- Cook 15 minutes.
- Cover pizza pan with oil.
- Sprinkle cornmeal.
- Press in dough.
