Ingredients
- 1 box wild rice blend, cooked & liquid removed
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 c. diced onions
- 1 pound pork sausage, fried & liquid removed
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can chicken rice soup
- 6 slices bread, cubed
- 1 jar mushroom slices
- Salt & pepper to taste
Method
- Cook and drain wild rice; blend as per package instructions.
- In the meantime, slowly fry and crumble pork sausage.
- Saute/fry celery and onions in sausage drippings.
- Throw away drippings after sauteing.
- Blend sausage, celery, onions, rice blend, soups, bread cubes and mushroom slices.
- Season to taste.
- Bake at 325 degrees in a casserole dish for 1 hour.
