Ingredients

  • 1 box wild rice blend, cooked & liquid removed
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 c. diced onions
  • 1 pound pork sausage, fried & liquid removed
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can chicken rice soup
  • 6 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 jar mushroom slices
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Method

  • Cook and drain wild rice; blend as per package instructions.
  • In the meantime, slowly fry and crumble pork sausage.
  • Saute/fry celery and onions in sausage drippings.
  • Throw away drippings after sauteing.
  • Blend sausage, celery, onions, rice blend, soups, bread cubes and mushroom slices.
  • Season to taste.
  • Bake at 325 degrees in a casserole dish for 1 hour.
