Ingredients
- 2 lbs. round steak, sirloin or chuck steak
- meat tenderizer
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder (or more)
Method
- Pierce meat with fork and sprinkle with meat tenderizer.
- Place in glass baking pan.
- Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over meat and turn to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate 8 hours. Grill or bake until desired doneness.
