Ingredients
- 8 qt. cucumbers
- 4 Spanish onions
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. turmeric
- 1/2 c. mustard seed
- 4 green peppers
- 4 red peppers
- 8 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard, ground
Method
- Slice cucumbers, onions and peppers very thin.
- Salt overnight, covered with water.
- Drain, then cook with remaining ingredients.
- Let stand in hot vinegar for a few hours, then reheat and can.
