Ingredients
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. Griffin's Corn Syrup
- 1 c. Griffin's Molasses
- 1/3 c. butter
- Griffin's Vanilla or almond extract
Method
- Place the brown sugar, water, corn syrup, molasses and butter in a large saucepan; stir to blend and cook to 260° on a candy thermometer or to hard ball stage when tested in cold water. Flavor with vanilla or almond.
- Pour onto buttered pan.
- Cool. Pull, cut and wrap.
