Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 (15 oz.) pkg. creamy white frosting mix
  • food coloring (red or green)
  • 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract

Method

  • Put butter and milk in 2-quart microproof bowl.
  • Cook on High for 45 seconds, or until butter is melted.
  • Stir in frosting mix. Cook on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, or until bubbly.
  • Stir twice during cooking time.
  • Stir in food coloring to tint.
  • Add extract. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
  • When cool, store in airtight container.
