Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • milk for pudding

Method

  • Heat oven to 400°.
  • Heat water and butter to a rolling boil. Stir in flour.
  • Stir vigorously over low heat about 1 minute or until mixture forms a ball.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Beat in eggs, all at once, beating until smooth.
  • Drop dough by slightly rounded teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until puffed and golden.
  • Cool completely.
  • Fill with pudding. Makes about 5 dozen.
  • You can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
